Why do podcasters always tape themselves in their dorm rooms? Why not just hang a moldy sheet from the ceiling or something, to at least create the illusion that you care about such aesthetic trivialities as cinematographic composition or color scheme ?

Just curious. And to be fair, I watched your podcast with the audio turned off for unrelated reasons, so the audio content may have been All That, rendering my cosmetic concerns irrelevant. But still. Why not try?

Cheers!

I can't speak for all podcasters however, for it is more cost efficient to not worry about trying to set up a 'set' per interview. As time progresses I do plan to have continuing small improvements, but I don't believe it to be necessary to either spend lavishly or pretend to create that 'faux pro look' for the interviews. What's most important is to make sure the information is received and distributed at its best, after that I'll focus on the aesthetics.

Nonetheless, thank you for your thoughts about improving the interviews.
